A robotics simulator you program with Arduino code
Write an ordinary Arduino sketch, run it on a simulated robot and watch it drive, climb, sort or fly in a 3D world. Sensors and motors behave as their datasheets describe, challenges check the result live, and the Serial Monitor shows what the robot thinks.
Robots to start from

- Two-wheel, four-wheel, tracked and mecanum rovers
- Four- and six-degree-of-freedom robot arms, a SCARA arm and a conveyor sorter
- A hexapod, a quadruped, a biped and a humanoid
- Quadrotors, a hexacopter, a fixed-wing plane and an underwater ROV
- Field robots: line followers, warehouse and delivery robots, a mower and crop monitors
Sensors and motors that behave like the real parts
HC-SR04 ultrasonic rangers with their cone and range, line sensors, bumper switches, an MPU6050 on I2C, wheel encoders, L298N-style motor drivers and SG90 servos at their rated speed. Rovers have mass, grip, slip and suspension on a rigid-body physics model; arms, walkers and the hexapod run on MuJoCo, the physics engine used in robotics research, with feet that really push on the floor.
Challenges and feedback
- Arenas for obstacle avoidance, line following, mazes, sumo and parking
- Goals checked live, with the reason a run failed
- Motor charts of what the sketch asks for against what the wheels do
- 2D, 3D, chase and first-person views, and runs at up to 8× speed
Build it for real
Every robot comes with a parts list linked to the Marketplace and a wiring table for the robot as tested.
Questions
What language do the robots use?
Arduino C++, run in the same interpreter as Circuit Studio, so what you learn transfers to a real board.
Is Robotics free?
It belongs to the Plus plan and stays open to everyone until paid plans go on sale.
