Robotics: design, program and simulate robots
A workspace for designing, programming and simulating robots. Explore robotic arms, mobile robots, motors, sensors, autonomous navigation, obstacle avoidance and robot control systems, and test behaviours in supported simulation environments.
What you can do in Robotics
- Two-wheel rovers and a three-servo robot arm
- Motors, ultrasonic, line and bumper sensors
- Autonomous navigation: line following and maze solving
- Obstacle avoidance
- Program in Arduino code and test it in simulated worlds
Robots and worlds
The robot library covers two-wheel, four-wheel, tracked and mecanum rovers, robot arms with four and six degrees of freedom, walkers, drones and an underwater ROV, each programmed with ordinary Arduino sketches. Sensors such as HC-SR04 ultrasonic rangers, line sensors, bumpers and an MPU6050 behave as their datasheets describe, and challenges such as line following, mazes and sumo check the result live.
